Multi-layer, low Ohm optical sputtered thin films serve electronic, medical, industrial and consumer optoelectronic product applications with precision, custom-designed compositions from precious and non-magnetic metals, alloys, chemicals and compound coatings on flexible polymeric substrates.

October 2, 2004 -- Multi-layered thin films providing functional optical properties for low ohm product applications such as optically clear heaters, EMI/RF shielding, touch screens and panels, electronic displays and other optoelectronic applications are produced by Techni-Met Inc Advance Depositions Group. From 8 to 60 ohms/square, the coatings produce light transmission range of 78-80% at 550 nm and total luminous transmission of 85-90%.

The company custom-designs precision thin film compositions from precious and non-magnetic metals, alloys, chemicals and compound coatings to meet resistance and clarity requirements.

Vacuum-sputtered thin film depositions on 1-7.5 mil PET and other flexible polymeric substrates such as polyimides and polycarbonate substrates and gauges are specified to meet functional end-use requirements.

Customers' level of resistance and clarity specifications determine thin film compositions, deposition source materials, and substrate material. Environmental performance data are available.
